Sin Ming, the Quiet Side of Artisan 8

Sin Ming Road curves east from Upper Thomson Road towards Sin Ming Avenue and Bishan, lined with private apartments, HDB blocks and low-rise light industry further along. Artisan 8 stands near its western end, on the corner of Jalan Isnin, so the homes are a few minutes from Upper Thomson Road yet set back from its traffic.

The address falls within the Bishan planning area and postal District 20, alongside Ang Mo Kio and Thomson. Sin Ming Ville, the nearest residential neighbour across Sin Ming Road, is about 160 metres from the site.

Upper Thomson Road from Artisan 8

Upper Thomson Road is one of Singapore’s most familiar food streets, with shophouse cafes, bakeries, zi char restaurants and late-night supper spots along both sides. Thomson Plaza, about 590 metres from the site, holds shops, restaurants and services under one roof, and the road continues north past the reservoirs towards Yio Chu Kang.

How the Thomson-East Coast Line Changed Life Near Artisan 8

Bishan Within Reach of Artisan 8
