Upper Thomson MRT and Transport from Artisan 8

Two MRT lines are within a short walk of Artisan 8: the Thomson-East Coast Line at Upper Thomson and the Circle Line at Marymount. This guide sets out where each one goes.

Upper Thomson Station and Artisan 8

Upper Thomson station (TE8) lies beneath Upper Thomson Road. On OneMap, its Exits 3 and 4 are about 260 metres from the site in a straight line, and Exit 5 about 360 metres. Heading south, the Thomson-East Coast Line runs to Caldecott, where it meets the Circle Line, then through Stevens, Napier and Orchard Boulevard to Orchard, Great World, Outram Park, Maxwell, Shenton Way and Marina Bay.

Heading north, it runs to Bright Hill, Mayflower and Springleaf, reaching Woodlands, where it connects with the North-South Line.

Marymount Station, the Circle Line and Artisan 8

Marymount station (CC16) is about 630 metres from the site to Exit A. One stop east is Bishan, an interchange with the North-South Line; westward, the Circle Line runs through Caldecott, Botanic Gardens and Holland Village towards HarbourFront and the loop around the city.

Driving from Artisan 8

By car, Sin Ming Road leads to Upper Thomson Road, and from there Marymount Road and Thomson Road connect to the Central Expressway and the Pan-Island Expressway. The basement car park at Artisan 8 holds 26 car lots, an accessible lot, a motorcycle lot and 10 bicycle lots.
